The President of the Councils of State and Ministers, Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, when intervening in the annual report of the Ministry of the Food Industry, stressed the need for it to increase its production steadily, with varied and quality offers, in particularly those directed to the internal market. Our president said that the country should aspire to have a food line that distinguishes it, because although there are positive experiences, they are still insufficient. He also stressed the need to increase deliveries to the domestic market, enhancing economic lines, where everything is done with the required quality. The Head of State said that one of the challenges of this sector is to promote linkages with the rest of the country's economic activities. On investments, said that we must be strict and demanding in their execution, so that they yield the expected results, extending the best experiences.
