Food and Beverages La Estancia S.A was among the sponsors of the XXII Pan American Cocktail Championship IBA 2018 that took place at the Habana Libre Hotel in the Cuban capital from August 26 to August 31, 2018.In this contest 16 member countries of the International Bartenders Association participated, plus two invited nations. During its development, 4 competitions were held, the Pan-American Santiago Policastro Cup (Pichín) in Memoriam, classical and freestyle cocktails (Flair), sponsored by Havana Club International SA, the José Ancona Presidents Classic Cup, the Edward Friendship Cup Rodríguez in Memoriam of classic cocktails and freestyle, and the Pan-American Bartender Challenger Cup (Bartenders Challenge). In addition, collateral meetings were held with Masters of Cuban Rum, masters class, tastings, tastings and special dinners, among other activities. Among the countries that honored us with their presence include Mexico, Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Spain, United States, Nicaragua, Peru, Puerto Rico, Venezuela, Dominican Republic, Uruguay, Portugal, as well as Belize and Panama as guests . The Pan-American Cocktail Championships have been successfully developed for 21 years, Cuba has the merit of being the first country to have a Club of Bartenders, founded in 1924, entering the IBA in 2002.
